REAL FC held a press conference on March 10, 2015 in Tokyo, Japan. The next event will be a co-promotion with new kickboxing organization ZONE.
REAL 2 will take place in Tokyo at the Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium on May 2, 2015. The format will be a mix of a ring for the kickboxing starting at 1:00 pm and then a cage for the MMA starting at 6:00 pm.
On hand at the press conference were REAL FC Welterweight Champion Marcous Souza, Lieca, and Sayako Fujita. Representing ZONE were Muay Thai fighters Jos Mendonca of Ingram Gym, Yosuke Morii, and Arashi Fujiwara.
Welterweight Champion Marcos Souza will be back in action, as will his brother, Brazilian jiu jitsu stand out Satoshi. Featherweight ranker Takahiro Ashida will be on the card also, as will Pancrase welterweight Kusa Max. Women’s boxing champ Leica takes her third MMA fight, and jiu jitsu fighter Eric Fought will be back in action.
Notable on the card is Rodrigo Caporal, the RUFF Lightweight Champion. Caporal is now 11-4 and riding a seven fight winning streak.
